The BOYA BY-VM190 is a complete solution for recording studio quality audio directly to your DSLR or camcorder. With several qualities of a professional mic packed into a compact lightweight design, it allows for clear dialog capture without compromising your compact setup or getting in the way of your shot.
The BY-VM190 has a compact and lightweight design with a rugged aluminum construction that’s ideal for use with HDSLR cameras, camcorders, and audio recorders.
Features a 40Hz to 20kHz response and selectable high pass filter at 80Hz is available, which will prevent low end noise such as air conditioners and traffic from being recorded. Easily mounts onto any accessory shoe or ¼” thread. Also features a shockmount for suppressing handling and vibration noise. Powered with a 9 volt battery which can be used for approximately 100 hours.
High Pass Filter/ Low-cut filter
The power/HPF switch allows you turn the mic off. Set it for a flat frequency response or engage the 80Hz high pass filter. The filter minimizes the impact of low frequency hum, camera motor noise and similar distractions.
